Process of doing Makrasanas or crocodile pose. 

1.First lie down on the mat on your stomach.

2. Spread your legs as far as you can, with your toes pointed out . 

3.Place the corners of both hands on the floor and place the palms of both hands on your face.

4.Your focus should be on a point in front. 

5.Hold the posture for 30 seconds. 

6.After that relax your body.

7.Breathe normally and slowly. 

8.Practice this asana 2 to 3 times. 

9.After practice return to your sitting posture. 

Benefits of doing Makrasanas

1.This asana activates the nervous system which reduces the stress level. 

2.This asana helps in taking deep breaths which makes the lungs strong.

3.It helps in reducing cervical pain. 

4.It helps in taking sleep with relaxation.

Precautions while doing Makrasans 

1. Pregnant women should not do this asana because the stomach touches the ground, which can create problems.

2.If you have pain in your back, neck or shoulder, consult a doctor first. 

3.If you have recently suffered any injury, do not do this asana. 

4.If you have any stomach related problem then do not do this asana. 

5.Avoid this pose if you have heart problems. 

6.If you are overweight, then you should not do this asana.
